What can I expect in this role? AST is seeking a versatile and highly motivated professional to bridge the gap between our core business systems and data-driven decision-making. This hybrid role requires an individual who can both manage and optimize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system infrastructure while simultaneously designing, developing, and deploying Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to transform raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will ensure the ERP system runs smoothly and securely, while also empowering stakeholders with the data and reports needed for strategic initiatives.
What will I be doing?
ERP Implementation & customizations, systems & infrastructure management Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions, including interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models Train end-users on Power BI and best practices to help drive data consumption Develop, optimize, and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources (ERP, databases, etc.) into our data warehouse Data modeling, write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and performance tuning Create custom data points for analysis using calculated fields & expressions Proactively design, test, and deploy new dashboards & visualizations Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals Build & perform routine audits of data in reports/dashboards Provide first and second-line support to end-users, resolving system issues and managing support tickets in a timely manner Requirements gathering, business process mapping, and change management Other duties as assigned What experience is AST looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative related discipline 5+ years of professional ERP & analytics experience Successful experience using SharePoint, DAX, Power Platform (BI, Query, Automate), C#, Visual Basic, SQL, REST APIs, and Python Advanced to expert MS Excel skills Deep experience with recursion, pivot/unpivot, and Window functions Experience with cloud-based BI/ERP solutions, MS Fabric, Salesforce Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Highly accurate and thorough in tasks Knowledge of life sciences and/or manufacturing industries preferred Eligibility Requirements:
