Description: We are excited to welcome an Entry-Level IT Security Analyst to our team! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to jumpstart your cybersecurity career and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment. You will play a vital part in our daily information security and compliance efforts, focusing on vulnerability management, patching, access reviews, and PCI DSS compliance activities. Responsibilities: Conduct internal and external vulnerability scans and track the remediation of identified issues. Manage and analyze vulnerability scan results, collaborating with IT teams to address findings. Support patch management initiatives and provide validation reports. Carry out user and privileged access reviews to ensure adherence to least-privilege principles. Assist in maintaining and updating IT security policies and procedures. Contribute to PCI DSS compliance activities, including documentation and evidence collection. Help ensure systems and processes align with recognized security best practices. Maintain thorough documentation for audits and internal reviews. Required Qualifications: Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls). Familiarity with user account management (Active Directory, Entra ID, or similar) and the principle of least privilege. Introductory knowledge of vulnerability scanning and management. Awareness of PCI DSS or other compliance frameworks. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. A strong desire to learn and grow within the cybersecurity field. Preferred Qualifications: A degree or relevant coursework in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Experience from internships or labs in IT or security. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7). Previous involvement in audit or compliance support. Basic knowledge of PowerShell, scripting, or reporting. Schedule & Pay: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, in the office. Starting Pay: $60,000 - $75,000/year.
