Lead Solutions Architect . This person will help shape the future of their enterprise-wide data and analytics platform supporting large-scale renewable and industrial operations across North and Latin America. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical design ensuring that every solution, from data pipelines to AI-driven insights, delivers measurable value, scalability, and trust. Databricks Lakehouse
and
Azure . (ex. IoT/SCADA telemetry from wind farms and other energy assets flows into the enterprise data platform) What Youll Do
Lead the design of end-to-end data and analytics products using Databricks Lakehouse, Azure Data Lake (bronze/silver/gold zones), and related cloud technologies. Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards for architecture, governance, and security. Serve as a senior point of escalation for complex integrations, ensuring technical feasibility, prioritization, and quality. Strategic Engagement
Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to define requirements, success metrics, and long-term data strategies. Lead workshops to align technical designs with organizational priorities and demonstrate platform value to leadership teams. Advocate for platform adoption and modern data practices across the enterprise. Governance & Quality
Drive adherence to data management principles including master data, metadata, and lineage standards. Work closely with governance teams to monitor compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks. Leadership & Enablement
Mentor and foster continuous improvement in solution design, documentation, and collaboration practices across the team. Champion innovation by integrating emerging tools, frameworks, and approaches into the data product lifecycle. Who You Are
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering within complex or data-rich environments, ideally in energy, utilities, or large-scale industrial sectors. Proven success influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across cross-functional teams. Technical Expertise
Strong proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Python, and SQL. Solid understanding of IoT data ingestion, SCADA systems Familiarity with Spark / Kafka Working knowledge of compliance standards relevant to critical infrastructure operations (e.g., NERC CIP, SOC 2).
