Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Software Engineers to understand the intricate advertising ecosystem. Create automated test frameworks for API, UI, integration, and data validation using Python. Engage in design discussions to enhance the platform and improve defect detection. Diagnose and resolve issues across functions. Contribute to end-to-end acceptance testing and develop manual test cases as necessary. Utilize data analytics and engineering experience to elevate testing strategies, ensuring high data quality. Validate large-scale data sets on big data platforms to meet testing requirements. Drive automation of manual tests whenever feasible. Monitor and validate test data consistency and representational accuracy. Collaborate with data engineers to streamline processes for data integrity across environments. Implement automated testing for data validation to enhance reliability and efficiency. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience with a non-technical degree. Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in Python or similar languages, automation tools (like Selenium or JUnit), SQL, and big data technologies (Spark or Hadoop). Testing Expertise:
Demonstrated proficiency in automated testing across various domains including API, UI, and integration testing. Problem-Solving Ability:
Strong diagnostic skills for data processing and system integration, with familiarity in CI/CD tools. Strong Communication:
Excellent skills in cross-team collaboration and documentation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, machine learning, and data privacy practices. The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA and Glendale, CA is $141,900 to $190,300 per year, in Seattle, WA is $148,700 to $199,400 per year, and in San Francisco, CA is $152,100 to $203,900 per year. The offered base pay will factor in internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be included in the compensation package depending on the level and position. Job Location:
