Your leadership will drive Maximus’ success by crafting exceptional solutions that enhance both business and mission outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement tailored solutions utilizing advanced technologies that promote scalability and flexibility. Create engaging presentations and technology demonstrations for internal teams and external stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external resources to enhance open source projects across diverse technologies. Work alongside internal teams to architect effective technical solutions, oversee design facilitation, and manage implementation efforts. Partner with delivery teams to ensure solutions can be seamlessly executed by operations. Mentor and guide Solution Architects, fostering growth and excellence across the team. Interact with pricing and delivery teams to ensure solution viability and cost-effectiveness. Lead major components or technical segments within capture teams. Transform client needs into actionable solution elements and architectural frameworks. Steer large-scale initiatives that are strategically vital to the organization, coordinating cross-functional teams. Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to understand priorities and constraints, facilitating collaboration between technical and non-technical groups. Directly interact with customers to gauge their needs and design custom solutions, building trust through consistent delivery and transparency. Support teams through technology shifts, enhancing training and adoption initiatives to ensure successful implementation. Assist in the development of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, including writing whitepapers and concepts. Provide technical solution support during the proposal phase encompassing technology stack, architecture, and implementation approaches. Solution Strategy & Innovation Lead the design and strategy for critical government projects. Define technical win themes and distinctive features for competitive proposals. Integrate and leverage Maximus Accelerators and reusable components. Pursue innovation through emerging technologies and industry best practices. Conduct competitive analysis and create strategies to respond to market trends. Facilitate solution reviews with executives and subject matter experts. Technical Leadership & Business Alignment Design scalable solutions using forefront technologies. Oversee RFI, RFP, and RFQ response generation, including whitepaper authorship. Develop pricing strategies and estimation models. Collaborate with capture teams to influence opportunities prior to RFP issuance. Mentor junior architects and provide technical direction across teams. Ensure compliance with requirements and alignment with customer needs. Create transition plans to address operational readiness and implementation efficiency. Position Requirements A Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years of technical IT experience, including solution development. Additional relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements. Technical & Business Skills In-depth understanding of the government IT landscape and compliance requirements. Experience with estimation methods and competitive solution crafting. Proficiency in technology domains such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and AI/ML. Familiarity with security standards, compliance frameworks, and risk management processes. Experience with government proposal mechanisms and competitive evaluation. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related area. 10-12 years of relevant professional experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered. Leadership & Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executives. Ability to simplify complex technical ideas for varied audiences. Track record of leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and encourage new practices. Adaptability in fast-paced environments across diverse time zones. Eligibility to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances. US Citizenship required for program eligibility.
