Role Overview:
As an IT Applications Manager, you will lead a dynamic team focused on developing innovative technology solutions for renowned brands across various industries. Key Responsibilities: Manage software development teams and oversee project development and implementation. Assess software and hardware needs across various platforms, drawing on deep industry knowledge. Conduct feasibility studies and provide time and cost estimates for new or modified applications. Coordinate with colleagues in related sections to ensure successful project collaboration. Prepare activity and progress reports to communicate developments in applications systems. Guide development team members, addressing questions, setting priorities, and establishing goals. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while adhering to Sedgwick’s software development lifecycle (SDLC). Define project scopes through research and discussions with corporate management and partners. Monitor and uphold data integrity throughout the development process. Demonstrate expertise in systems development and project management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Management required; preferred major in Information Systems or Business Management. Ten years of relevant experience, including five years in systems development and three years in supervisory or project management roles. Extensive knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle Database development. Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL Run Time improvement. Experience with Near Real Time Oracle ETL processes is a plus. Proficiency in ETL PL/SQL development and documentation is beneficial. This position necessitates proven hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and ETL.
