Position Information
Temporary until October 11, 2027.
Rotation/Shifts
Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario;
Ability to perform IV set up, insertion and medication preparation;
Intermediate data entry and advanced medical terminology;
Eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Sonography Canada;
Ability to assist in invasive procedures;
Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques;
Good knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound equipment both mobile and static;
Certification in CPR;
Good written, verbal and presentation skills;
Sound judgement and problem-solving abilities;
Good interpersonal skills .
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
Registered with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
Experience in Cardiac Imaging;
Experience in 2D, M-mode, Color, Flow, Pulsed wave and Continuous wave doppler examinations, Stress and Pharmacological Echo studies;
Experience in performing Transesophageal echocardiagrams and contrast echos;
Experience in evaluating and collating exams and providing pertinent patient information to the physician;
Ability to use echo analysis software packages to enhance obtained information;
Experience in a hospital environment;
Certification in ACLS.
Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
