We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, high quality, employee safety, and effective coordination between departments. This leadership role is essential to achieving the company's production goals and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire plant operations including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics.
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Lead and motivate plant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, and corporate leadership to align operational goals.
Manage plant budget and control operational costs.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational performance.
Implement lean manufacturing techniques and process optimization.
Handle plant audits, inspections, and certification processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) in a plant or operations management role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and production management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
Experience with safety and environmental management systems.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in manufacturing settings
