OVERVIEW
The Financial Analyst will provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support Executive and Senior Management. In this role, the Financial Analyst will ensure proper execution of routine analysis/reports and play an active role in management strategy meetings as well as provide analytical insight that helps guide the strategic decision-making process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for gathering, computing and analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Prepares data to be used for the reporting of operational, financial, marketing and gaming-related analyses, statistical analysis, ad hoc reporting, database querying, and data enhancement
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of data as well as data integrity
- Researches, validates and implements advanced statistical and data mining techniques that will be used to develop direct marketing programs
- Support Senior Management Team and Departments Leads with in-depth analysis
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with minimum 3 years' experience in a related position
- A recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA) is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. Power Query, Macros)
- Casino/Hospitality knowledge would be an asset
- Individual should be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and highly organized
- Experience with analytic tools/software and some hands-on database experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Navision or Jet Reports would be an asset
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to communicate effectively in a group setting or presentation setting with associates, upper management and guests
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Serving it Right Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
- Must be able to work extended hours during the week and on weekends is often required to meet deadlines
