Position Details: Full Time, Fixed Term (approx. May – Aug) – 2 positions
Salary: Salary range between $18-$21, based on a 35-hour work week. Salary for this position will commensurate with each individual's education and/or experience as it relates to the position.
Location: Quebec City, Quebec

What You Will Do
We are looking for someone who can assist the various work teams in carrying out field work. As a conservation technician, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare field trips;
- Conduct wildlife and plant characterisation and inventories;
- Perform field monitoring and install small infrastructure;
- Compile and enter data into a database;
- Prepare progress reports;
- Raise awareness among users about adopting good practices in forest, agricultural, riparian and wetland environments;
- Ensure proper management of field equipment (iPad, GPS, canoe, kayak, etc.);
- All other related tasks.
Requirements and qualifications
- College education in wildlife management, biology, environment or forestry
- Good knowledge of wetland ecosystems
- Ability and interest in teamwork
- Good communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Autonomy and initiative
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Willingness to travel throughout Quebec and valid Class 5 driving licence
