About the Role
I'm looking for an experienced social media assistant to help create monthly content calendars and design briefs for a graphic designer.
This is a trial project to create the April 2025 calendar (approx 20-25 posts). If successful, this has potential to become ongoing monthly work.
What You'll Do
Generate content ideas
Write Instagram & Facebook captions in warm, conversational tone in line with brand guidelines
Balance content across 7 brand pillars (templates provided)
Create design briefs for our brand designer (photography/illustration specs)
Plan content mix: Reels, Carousels, and minimal static posts
Quality check: hashtags, no repeated dishes from previous months, proper formatting
Enter finalized calendar into Notion
What I'll Provide
Previous month's calendars as examples
Content ideas & reel themes
Detailed SOP with quality checklists
Access to Notion workspace
Ideal Candidate
Must Have:
Experience with Instagram & Facebook content planning
Strong copywriting skills in Australian/UK English
Comfortable using AI tools
Detail-oriented (you'll spot em dashes, hashtag errors, repetition)
Experience writing creative/design briefs
Bonus Points:
Worked with meal delivery or hospitality brands
Understand Meta platform performance (carousels vs reels vs static posts)
Notion experience
Blog copywriting experience (to amplify high value posts)
Trial Project Details
Deliverable: 1 month for 2026 content calendar posts) in Notion
Timeline: 1 week from briefing
If this goes well, ongoing work would be 10-15 hours/month creating monthly calendars + potential for additional tasks (email management, content coordination, blog writing)
