We create immersive, slow-burn, tension-driven documentaries about the intelligence and mystery of the ocean.
Think:
Netflix nature documentary × psychological thriller.
What You'll Be Editing:
• 1–2 videos per week
• 8–12 minutes each
• Script + voiceover provided
• Visual storytelling required
• Light motion graphics where appropriate
Editing Style We're Looking For:
• Cinematic pacing (controlled, not rushed)
• Strong use of negative space
• Subtle zooms and camera movement
• Clean typography overlays
• Minimal but powerful sound design
• Atmospheric music (not loud or dramatic)
• Suspense built through timing, not jump cuts
We want:
Tension through restraint.
Not:
YouTube overstimulation.
Technical Requirements:
-Fluent English understanding (for timing)
-Professional editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.)
-Access to high-quality footage sources
-Ability to color-grade underwater footage properly
48-hour turnaround preferred
-Willing to grow long-term with the channel
Bonus if you:
• Have edited documentary-style content
• Understand retention psychology
• Have experience with faceless YouTube channels
• Know how to use subtle sound design to build tension
Budget:
$300 for 10 videos (starter rate)
Performance-based increases available quickly for strong editors.
We prioritize long-term collaboration.
