The successful candidate will join the Equity Derivatives / Compliance Trade Reporting application support team, responsible for technical support, QA testing, analysis, and presentation of findings to stakeholders.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Your missions
You will perform morning production checks to ensure system stability before financial markets open. Throughout the day, you will manage and maintain the end-user ticket backlog using Unity and respond to user requests.
You may also be contacted directly by users for live production incidents, requiring strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot applications in real time. You will progressively learn key Production Support practices and gain financial systems expertise alongside experienced professionals.
You will perform end-of-day production checks to confirm system stability before the Asian markets open. Since no two days are the same, adaptability is essential.
Core Responsibilities
Review and provide timely resolution of functional and technical issues, escalating and reporting incidents through the appropriate chain of command.
Support end users including Sales, Traders, and Front, Middle, and Back Office teams.
Respond to end users within the timelines defined by issue severity, while documenting and tracking all cases, issues, and resolution steps.
Provide timely reporting of production status to clients and IT management.
Partner with global support teams (New York, Bangalore, Paris) on release management.
Effectively manage client relationships with the end-user community.
Communicate clearly with users regarding application outages, planned releases, and project-related events.
Understand and operate within applicable regulatory constraints.
Ensure disaster recovery plans are properly documented and tested at least twice per year.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Your profile:
Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar application support role within a complex information system environment
Good knowledge of French and English require*
Strong ability to structure, document, and share technical and functional knowledge
Prior experience in a financial services environment
Familiarity with ITIL framework
Basic understanding of financial markets / capital markets
Knowledge of monitoring and batch scheduling concepts
Proven experience in incident management and request handling
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, as the role involves regular collaboration with colleagues and partners in the United States.

Localization: Montréal
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000–$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy
