Short-Form Video Editor (Performance-Focused | Personal Brand Content)
Job Description:
I'm the CEO of a fast-growing marketing agency, and I'm building out my personal brand across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
I'm looking for a high-level short-form video editor who understands how to turn raw footage into high-retention, high-performing content — not just "good edits."
This is not a corporate role. This is raw, direct, fast-paced content aimed at entrepreneurs and business owners.
If you just add captions and emojis, this is not for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Edit short-form videos (30–90 seconds) for IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Take raw footage and cut for retention (pattern interrupts, pacing, strong hooks)
Add captions that are strategic, not decorative
Implement zooms, cuts, and visual changes that keep attention high
Select and insert b-roll, sound effects, and subtle motion graphics where needed
Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips
Match a clean, premium, but bold editing style
What I'm Looking For:
Proven experience editing viral or high-performing short-form content
Strong understanding of hook creation, pacing, and retention mechanics
Ability to think like a content strategist, not just an editor
Fast turnaround times (24–72 hours preferred)
Good communication and ability to take direct feedback
Bonus Points If You:
Have worked with entrepreneurs, agencies, or personal brands
Understand content styles similar to Alex Hormozi, Iman Gadzhi, etc.
Can suggest improvements to content (hooks, cuts, structure)
Stay on top of trends without making content feel "trendy" or low quality
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Video Editing, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Video Post-Editing, English
