Über
I'm looking for a reliable and detail-oriented video editor who specializes in using Pictory to create clean, professional, and visually engaging scenes for my YouTube channel.
You will NOT be doing heavy editing, animations, sound design, or full production.
Your role is simple:
Take the script and voiceover I provide → Create the sequence of scenes in Pictory → Match visuals to the meaning, tone, pacing, and flow of the script. Screen shots and screen recordings may be required to meet the script of the video.
If you enjoy storytelling through visuals, can follow guidelines, and care about quality, this role is for you. This is a long-term position with consistent weekly work.
Your Responsibilities
• Create polished video scenes in Pictory
• Match visuals to the script's meaning and emotional tone
• Ensure smooth pacing and logical scene progression
• Follow brand guidelines and templates
• Add relevant stock footage, images, transitions, and overlays
• Maintain consistent quality
• Respond well to feedback and improve quickly
• Deliver videos on time
What You Need
• Experience with Pictory (required)
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling
• Good English reading comprehension
• Fast and stable internet
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• A portfolio or sample videos (Pictory preferred)
Bonus skills:
• Experience editing faceless YouTube content
• Familiarity with AI tools
• Basic Canva experience
Expected Workload
• 4–8 long-form videos per month
• Each video is 10–12 minutes long
• Workload may increase as the channel grows
