Excel Automation Specialist – Recurring Monthly Data Cleanup (Real Estate)
I run a real estate acquisitions business and need a technical Excel specialist to build a repeatable data-cleaning workflow.
This is NOT manual data entry.
You must use formulas or Power Query. If you cannot automate this, do not apply.
Task Overview:
We export a PropStream file monthly (~5,000–10,000 rows).
Phone numbers are returned in columns like: Mobile phone 1, phone 2, phone 3, phone 4. Landline phone 1, phone 2.
We need it like this:
Phone 1
Phone 2
Phone 3
Phone 4
Phone 5
Phone 6
Phone 7
Phone 8
You must:
1. Combine Mobile + Landline
2. Split all comma-separated numbers.
3. Remove all non-digit characters (dashes, parentheses, spaces).
Provide a reusable template for monthly use.
Deliver final output in clean CSV format (DNC-ready).
This should be automated — not manually sorted.
Requirements:
Advanced Excel skills (TEXTSPLIT, TEXTJOIN, Power Query, etc.)
Ability to create reusable templates
Must explain your method briefly before starting
Must provide final file + template version
