The site is largely written and structured. This project is not primarily copywriting or SEO. The goal is visual polish, flow, hierarchy, and brand perception.
Right now the site possesses the core functions, but design still signals DIY and seems to lack visual cohesiveness. I want it to feel intentional, modern, and premium while remaining warm and approachable.
This is closer to product design and layout refinement than a full website build.
What already exists:
• Home page built
• FAQ page built
• Contact page built
• Calendly integration functioning
• Brand voice established
• Brand guide created (logos, typography, color direction)
• Most written copy finalized
Primary goals of this project:
Refine spacing, layout hierarchy, and typography rhythm
Improve visual flow and section transitions
Rework imagery and backgrounds where appropriate
Introduce design elements that improve perceived professionalism
Reduce the "template" feeling while staying clean and minimal
Improve mobile experience and responsiveness
Ensure the site feels trustworthy and premium without feeling corporate or cold
Scope of work:
- Full visual refinement of existing pages (Home, FAQ, Contact)
- Re-structure sections where needed for better UX flow
- Improve layout consistency across breakpoints
- Suggest or replace imagery where appropriate
- Adjust text containers, padding, and alignment for readability
- Add subtle visual system consistency across the site
Create the structure/bones of two future unpublished pages:
• Services page
• Blog page
These pages do not need final content, only strong layout structure ready for future use.
Brand assets and visual direction
I already have a fully developed brand guide including:
• logos and logo variations
• typography selections
• font pairings
• color direction
• abstract logo gradients and graphic elements
You will have access to these files and they can absolutely be used within the design.
However, the goal is not rigid adherence — the goal is cohesion and feel.
You should feel comfortable working within the brand system while still making thoughtful design decisions if something communicates the positioning better. Think of the brand guide as a foundation and visual language, not a constraint.
Ideal experience
- Strong Squarespace 7.1 experience (required)
- Portfolio demonstrating clean, modern service-based websites
- Experience with healthcare, wellness, fitness, or professional service brands preferred
- Understanding of visual hierarchy and trust-based conversion design
- Ability to make thoughtful aesthetic decisions, not just implement instructions
Important notes
This is not a total rebuild. I want refinement and elevation, not starting over.
I am open to design suggestions and creative direction. I want a designer's eye, not just a technician.
BUDGET: I'm looking for a fixed budget project. As a new office, we don't have significant cash flow right now but also want to signal premium and professional. I'm likely looking for designers who can execute this request in the ~$400-1,200 USD range. I'm also ok to strike the unpublished services & blog pages part of this request to focus on the primary bones (Home, FAQ, and Contact Us pages) of the website.
Please include 2–4 examples of relevant Squarespace work when applying.
