OVERVIEW
I'm a complete beginner looking for an experienced AI automation builder — not a course creator, not a theorist — who can teach me hands-on through live sessions and structured weekly builds. I'm available 20+ hours a week, I move fast, and I'm serious about turning this into a business.
My learning style is non-negotiable: I need a brief big-picture overview, then I build immediately. I drive the keyboard. You guide. No lectures, no slide decks, no passive watching.
---
GOAL (OUTCOME-BASED)
By the end of 4–6 weeks I want to:
• Build 2 automation workflows end-to-end using or n8n
• Include real AI steps — classification, extraction, drafting — using GPT or Claude API with structured JSON outputs
• Integrate voice AI (ElevenLabs) and WhatsApp (Twilio, WATI, or similar)
• Add production essentials to every workflow: error handling, retries, logging, alerts
• Package at least 1 workflow as a repeatable, sellable template for a specific business vertical
• Understand how to price and deploy it so I can go to market immediately after training
---
PREFERRED STACK
• or n8n (you recommend based on my goals — I want your honest opinion)
• GPT API / Claude API — AI logic inside workflows
• ElevenLabs — voice generation
• WhatsApp integration — Twilio, WATI, or your preferred platform
• Google Workspace (Sheets, Gmail, Drive)
• Airtable or Google Sheets as lightweight database
• Lightweight CRM (HubSpot free or similar)
Note: this list is a direction, not a rigid requirement. I trust your judgment on what to prioritise.
---
SESSION FORMAT (required — please read before applying)
Every session should follow this structure:
1. Map (10–15 min): what we're building, why, architecture overview
2. Principle (10 min): one concept only — webhooks, auth, retries, rate limits, JSON schema, etc.
3. Build (55–60 min): screen share, I drive the keyboard, you guide in real time
4. Harden (10 min): error paths, logging, edge cases, alerts
5. Next task (5 min): one small solo build I complete before the next session
Between sessions I want async support via message or Loom when I'm stuck — not for hand-holding, but to unblock genuine confusion quickly.

CURRICULUM I'M REQUESTING
Week 0 (1 session — setup)
• Choose the stack and explain why
• Set up all accounts, API keys, environment
• Create a shared workspace: Recipes, Templates, Client Setup Checklist
• First simple workflow live — something working by end of session 1
Week 1 (core automation mechanics)
• Data flow fundamentals: triggers, actions, routers, filters, iterators
• Webhooks and JSON handling
• Authentication patterns (OAuth vs API key)
• Build: lead capture → enrichment → CRM → AI-drafted email follow-up → notification
• Deliverable: working workflow + spec (inputs / outputs / edge cases)
Week 2 (AI inside workflows)
• Prompting for automation: structured outputs, JSON schema, guardrails
• Using LLMs for classification, extraction, drafting, routing
• Build: inbox or DM triage agent — categorise → extract fields → draft response → human approval → send
• Deliverable: reusable prompt templates + human-in-the-loop approval step
Week 3 (production readiness — making it client-grade)
• Idempotency, deduplication, retries, backoff, rate limits
• Observability: logs, alerts, dashboards
• Error handling: dead-letter queue / error routes
• Build: harden one existing workflow to production standard
• Deliverable: monitoring and alerting setup + simple runbook (what to do when X fails)
Week 4 (productisation and packaging)
• Standardised onboarding: credentials, permissions, data mapping
• Config vs custom: 80% template, 20% client-specific config
• Pricing logic and scope boundaries
• Build: template version of the vertical workflow with a client config sheet
• Deliverable: v1 product — deployable in under 4 hours per new client
Weeks 5–6 (optional extension)
• ElevenLabs voice integration and WhatsApp automation
• Agentic AI: multi-step autonomous workflows
• Second workflow in the same vertical (upsell offer)
• Basic UK/GDPR awareness for client contracts
• Deliverables: 2 packaged offers + a demo Loom walkthrough I can send to prospects
---
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN YOU
• You actively build and deploy automations for real clients — this is your craft, not your content
• Proven hands-on experience with the stack above (especially webhooks, APIs, JSON, reliability patterns)
• You can teach clearly without being condescending — you explain the skeleton, I build the body
• You've helped someone build client-ready workflows, not just understand tools
• You're comfortable letting me drive and only stepping in when I'm genuinely stuck
• Bonus: experience with WhatsApp business automation, voice AI, or agentic workflows
---
ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
• Format: live 1-on-1 video sessions with screen sharing (Zoom or Google Meet)
• Frequency: 2–3 sessions per week, 90 minutes each
• Async support: message or Loom between sessions for blockers
• Duration: 4–6 weeks to start, extendable
• I am available flexibly around your schedule
---
TO APPLY — PLEASE ANSWER ALL OF THE FOLLOWING
*I will only respond to applications that answer these specifically.
1. or n8n — which do you recommend for my goals and why?
2. Describe 2–3 real automations you've personally built (brief description; Loom or screenshots welcome)
3. How would you structure our very first session with a complete beginner who learns by doing?
4. Explain how you prevent duplicate processing when a webhook fires twice.
5. How do you handle workflow failures — retries, backoff, and error routing?
6. Give an example of a prompt you use to extract structured fields (JSON) from messy or unstructured text.
7. What's your approach to human approval steps before a workflow sends a message or email on a client's behalf?
8. What's the fastest vertical workflow you think can be packaged and sold in 4–6 weeks — and what would it do?
9. Your hourly rate and weekly availability.
---
BUDGET
Hourly rate. Preferred cadence: 3–5 hours of live sessions per week plus async support. I'm not looking for someone to fill 20 hours a week — I'm looking for someone whose teaching makes my solo practice time count.
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: , n8n, AI Development, Chatbot Development, Prompt Engineering, Workflow Automation, Webhook, Twillio, API Integration
