WNW Maintenance - Pool Technician 2026

Job Description: 

Wet n Wild Toronto is seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of Maintenance Pool Technician for the upcoming season. As a Pool Chemistry Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for our guests by maintaining the pool water and related systems. 

Responsibilities: 

• Pool Water Analysis: 
  Perform regular testing of pool water parameters including pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
  Record and document all testing results accurately. 
• Chemical Treatment: 
  Adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain optimal water quality for swimming.
  Administer other chemical treatments to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the pool. 
• Equipment Maintenance: 
  Conduct minor repairs on pool equipment, including the replacement of filters and pumps.
  Monitor and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure proper functionality. 
• Pool Area Maintenance: 
  Clean and maintain the pool deck and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
  Perform routine inspections to identify and address any potential safety hazards. 
• Communication: 
  Report all findings and maintenance activities to the Director of Maintenance.
  Collaborate with other team members to address any issues promptly. 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in pool maintenance or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of pool water chemistry and treatment procedures.
• Ability to perform minor repairs on pool equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording testing results.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends. 
• Must have steel-toe shoes.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. 

Work Environment:

This position requires occasional work in or around water, confined quarters, heights, loud environments and large crowds, and moving objects. A successful candidate will be able to work in all weather conditions, including vast temperatures and weather conditions.
