Über

We are building an AI-powered chatbot that answers users using knowledge from client-uploaded PDFs and videos. The goal is to create a reliable, content-grounded assistant that can search, summarize, and explain learning materials inside a mobile app. We are looking for a backend/full-stack engineer to help design and implement this end-to-end pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Build an AI-powered Q&A pipeline using frameworks like LlamaIndex (or LangChain).
- Process PDFs/videos into chunks, convert them into vectors, and store them in a vector database.
- Retrieve relevant chunks when users ask questions and pass them to an LLM (e.g., GPT) to generate answers.
- Develop API endpoints for content ingestion and user chat queries.
- Ensure smooth data flow from content upload → processing → retrieval → AI response.
- Work primarily with backend technologies preferred).
- Manage vector databases and optimize search performance and accuracy.
- No prior LlamaIndex/LangChain experience required, but willingness to learn AI integration is important.
- Bonus if you have worked with LLM APIs or AI-powered applications before.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: API, Vector Database, LLM Prompt, llamaindex, JavaScript, , MongoDB
