We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery by responding to service calls, performing minor repairs & overseeing trade work at in-home appointments, as well as collaborating with the Service Team to meet deadlines.

The Role:
- Respond to scheduled service appointments to complete 30-Day, Mid-Year, 1 Year and 2 Year or internal service deficiencies
- Perform minor repairs including drywall, trim, paint, and other areas as required
- Update site and Technician activity, production & provide detailed reports
- Monitor trades while completing deficiency items in the home to ensure completion and adherence to service standards
- Review and follow up with Service Coordinators on all scheduled appointments, service items and deficiencies until completed
- Meet with Service Team monthly to review service calls, work orders and provide status updates
- Complete minor repairs as part of the Model Home Maintenance Program, communicate to the Sales Team and oversee the quality and completion of work performed by trades on site
- Conduct Caivan's QBFC & Move In Ready (MIR gate 1) Inspections
- Audit houses at PDI (MIR Gate 2) for level of completion & quality from the initial MIR inspection
- Be proficient in Caivan (finishing) scopes and act as an ambassador of Caivan quality standards
- Drive Homeowner Survey Initiative
- Perform any other duties as required
You Will Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in carpentry and finishing repairs
- Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trades' functions (carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.) is a requirement, as is knowledge of various tools and equipment.
- Comfortable in the use of technology – smartphones, tablets, or computers to record, review and communicate information
- Certified in Working at Heights, WHMIS, First Aid are preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic arithmetic skills, for example, in taking measurements, is essential.
- Flexible to move to different projects and jobs
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic - ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver's license, and regular access to a reliable vehicle
- Must have own hand tools and drills
