Mademoiselle Jules Jewelry is a fast-growing Canadian jewelry brand carried by Holt Renfrew, Simons, Suetables and selling direct-to-consumer through Shopify, key retail partners, and through a strong influencer and affiliate network.
We are looking for a hands-on Business Operations & Finance professional to work directly with the Founder and become the operational backbone of the company.
This is a hands-on role within a growing founder-led brand. We are not a large corporate environment. You will work independently building clarity through dashboards, improving financial visibility, and supporting inventory and operational discipline.
This role requires execution, ownership, and comfort operating without a large team.
This is not a marketing, event, or creative role.
This is a numbers, systems, and operations role.
What you will be responsible for:
Financial Operations
Build and maintain clear dashboards for sales, margins, inventory health, and cash
P&L review and forecasting
COGS tracking and cost control
Budget planning and financial dashboards
Oversight of bookkeeping/accounting functions (in-house or external)
Monthly reconciliation of Shopify and POS
Inventory & operational support
Monitor inventory levels and identify stockout/overstock risks
Support purchasing planning and production follow-ups with suppliers
Improve pricing structure across DTC, wholesale, and partnerships
Contracts, Partnerships & Growth Structure
Managing contracts and negotiations with influencers, affiliates, and partners
Commission structure tracking and profitability
Supporting US expansion (distribution center, showroom, sales reps)
Helping structure agreements with retail partners and collaborators
Systems & Process
Building SOPs so the company runs without constant founder involvement
Creating operational dashboards and reporting
Implementing structure across inventory, logistics, and internal workflows
You are a good fit if you:
Have 3+ years experience in operations, finance, or business analytics within a product-based or e-commerce company for a:
Jewelry brand
Fashion brand
Consumer goods/ product company
Founder-led growing business
You understand:
Inventory cycles and forecasting
Can interpret a P&L and balance sheet
Shopify backend
Contracts, negotiations, and commission structures
Building systems and bringing structure to fast-moving environments
You are analytical, highly organized, and solution-oriented, and comfortable working closely with a founder in a scaling business.
Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
