This is NOT a rebuild. We need an expert debugger who can diagnose and repair complex lifecycle, background service, and state persistence issues in an existing codebase.
Key problems include:
• App unusable after updates due to stuck sessions
• NFC onboarding failing for new users
• App blocker not enforcing or persisting
• Scheduled sessions ending early
• Break system errors and restoration failures
• Session protection pausing unexpectedly
• Toggle controls not functioning properly
• Emergency session exit failing
Project scope:
• Emergency stabilization fixes
• Core session and blocker reliability
• Break handling and UI control repairs
• Regression prevention and testing
Requirements:
• 5+ years Android development
• Strong experience with background services, lifecycle management, and state persistence
• Accessibility Service API experience
• Advanced debugging skills
• Available to start immediately
We provide full code access, regression documentation, and direct team support.
