Project Overview
I am building a location-based mobile app MVP for an island test market (Ischia, Italy). The platform centralizes events (nightlife, festivals, local events), tourist experiences (boat tours, rentals, excursions), and local shops with searchable product catalogs. Everything must be displayed on an interactive map + list view with search and filtering. This is an automation-first system. The goal is to minimize manual input.
Core Requirements – User App Features
Interactive map with dynamic pins (Events, Experiences, Shops), map/list toggle, filters (category, date – today/tomorrow/weekend, distance, price range, "available only"), and a search bar that must return both experiences and products. Event/Experience detail page must include title, description, start & end datetime (must support overnight events), price, status (active / few spots / sold out / cancelled), booking CTA (external link / WhatsApp / phone), and last updated indicator. Shop profile must include location, contact details, social links, and product catalog. Product detail must include image, optional price, availability (in stock boolean + stock level), and contact/reserve CTA.
Provider Portal
Create/edit Events & Experiences, manage status & availability, create/manage Shop catalog, bulk product upload via CSV, and connect ICS / Google Calendar feed for automatic event sync.
Automation Layer (Very Important)
ICS calendar ingestion with scheduled refresh. AI Import Assistant: provider pastes text/link or uploads flyer, system extracts structured fields (title/date/time/location/price), provider confirms with one click. User submission flow with admin moderation and stale content detection system.
Admin Panel
Approve/manage providers, edit listings, basic analytics (views, booking clicks), and featured placement control.
Technical Preferences
Preferred stack: FlutterFlow or Flutter, Firebase (Auth + Firestore + Cloud Functions + Storage), Mapbox or Google Maps, push notifications (FCM), and OpenAI API (or similar) for structured data extraction.
Deliverables
iOS & Android builds, Firebase project ownership transferred to me, source code/export, documentation, and 2-week bugfix support.
Budget & Timeline
Budget: €4,000 – €7,500 (milestone-based). Timeline: 4–8 weeks.
