My podcast is recorded in StreamYard, and I need someone who can take the raw recordings and turn them into:
a polished audio podcast episode
a clean, lightly edited YouTube version
ready-to-post social clips (already provided by StreamYard)
This role is ongoing, and I'm looking for someone who is not only skilled but also timely, organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
What You'll Be Doing Each Episode
Audio Podcast Editing
Download StreamYard audio/video files
Clean up audio (levels, noise reduction, compression)
Remove obvious long pauses, tech issues, and major verbal stumbles
Export final audio as MP3 (podcast-ready)
Deliver a version that sounds professional and consistent
Upload to appropriate channels
YouTube Video Editing (Light)
My podcasts are recorded live and with an audience. This requires some finessing of the quality while maintaining an authentic, relational feel.
Light trimming (dead space, awkward starts/stops)
Basic audio leveling
Add intro/outro (I can provide assets)
Export and upload final video in YouTube-ready format
Social Media Clips
StreamYard generates clips already
Your job is to enhance these clips, or find better ones, to help grow my social media presence.
We'll work together on captions, and you will upload them.
Workflow Requirements
Must work inside a ClickUp task system
Must be comfortable with clear deadlines and repeatable processes
Must be timely and responsive (this is a non-negotiable)
Must have excellent English (native or fluent)
Must have strong attention to detail
Bonus (Preferred but Not Required)
I'd love someone who understands: YouTube titles/thumbnails retention basics
podcast growth strategy
how to structure content for audience engagement
best practices for short-form clips (Reels, FB, IG)

1 edited MP3 audio file
1 edited YouTube-ready video file
3 StreamYard social clips organized + delivered

I'm a writer and host of a podcast called The Writers' Bloc, and I'm building a growing community of Christian writers. I'm looking for a long-term editor who can help me stay consistent and professional across platforms.
