I'm looking for a professional with real, hands-on experience in GrapheneOS to fully set up and harden a Google Pixel device.
This is not a basic Android setup. I need someone who understands GrapheneOS security model, profiles, permissions, networking, and privacy best practices and can configure the phone for a privacy-focused daily workflow.
Scope of Work
Install/verify latest GrapheneOS on Google Pixel
Update all system modules and security patches
Configure multiple user profiles (e.g., Work / Mobility)
Harden privacy settings (permissions, sensors, network, background access)
Set up essential apps (Telegram, Uber, Maps, Lyft, DoorDash, VPN) with privacy-first configuration
Configure VPN (Mullvad or similar): always-on, block connections without VPN
App isolation & network rules per profile
Optional: guidance on secure backup & recovery
Short walkthrough / documentation of what was done
Requirements (please read)
Proven experience with GrapheneOS (not just "Android security")
Experience with Pixel devices (7/8/9 series preferred)
Comfortable with privacy hardening, app permissions, network controls
Ability to explain decisions and provide a short checklist for future maintenance
Availability for a live session (screen share) or step-by-step remote guidance

Fully configured Pixel with GrapheneOS
Profiles set up and tested
Apps installed and privacy-configured
VPN configured and verified
Short written summary + recommendations
Budget
Open to fixed-price or hourly. Please propose your rate based on scope.
