We are Empire Infrastructure ), and we're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable freelancer to fully clean up, complete, and organise our CRM (Insightly).
Job Description
Your main responsibility will be to ensure our CRM becomes a complete, accurate, and duplication-free database with no missing or messy data.
This work will involve either:
• Updating data in an exported Excel file, and/or
• Working directly inside Insightly
What You'll Be Doing
• Enter and update all contact and company records in Insightly
• Research and fill in missing contact details, including:
o Full names
o Job Titles
o Company names
o Email addresses
o Phone numbers (if available)
o LinkedIn profile URLs
o Profile pictures (company logos and contact LinkedIn profile photos, if available)
o Any other relevant business/contact information
• Find and remove duplicate contacts and companies
• Standardise and clean messy or inconsistent data
• Ensure all records are complete, accurate, and properly formatted
• Organise the CRM so there are no gaps, no duplicates, and no incomplete records (unless the information is genuinely unattainable)
Goal of This Project
By the end of this project, our Insightly CRM should be:
• Fully cleaned
• Fully populated with accurate data
• De-duplicated
• Well-organised and ready for sales and marketing use
Requirements
• Strong experience with data entry and data cleanup
• Experience working with CRMs (Insightly experience is a big plus)
• Excellent internet research skills (especially LinkedIn)
• Extreme attention to detail
• Comfortable working with Excel/CSV files and/or directly in CRM systems
• Ability to follow clear data standards and formatting rules
Nice to Have
• Previous CRM cleanup or migration projects
• Experience enriching contact data from LinkedIn or company websites
