Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Security Officer located in Regina, SK. The Security Officer will be responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets by conducting routine patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to security incidents appropriately. Other duties include maintaining incident reports, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and assisting visitors or employees when required. The successful candidate will promote a safe environment and uphold the company's commitment to providing excellent security services.
Qualifications
Strong observational, situational awareness, and attention-to-detail skills
Proficiency in using surveillance technology and access control systems
Ability to assess and respond to security incidents effectively and professionally
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and the public
Familiarity with risk assessment and adhering to safety and security protocols
Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and maintain confidentiality
Valid security guard license and first aid/CPR certification (required)
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a similar field is an asset
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
