Role Description
We are seeking a Field Integration Engineer/Technologist for a full-time hybrid role based in Sudbury, ON, with some flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, integration, and maintenance of LoopX's AI-powered systems on mining equipment. This includes diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, configuring software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also train clients on system functionality and provide ongoing technical support as required.
Responsibilities
Install and commission AI-based safety and productivity systems on mobile mining equipment and stationary infrastructure
Perform electrical and mechanical work such as sensor mounting, cable routing, and wiring
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during field deployment
Assist with design by updating wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation procedures
Create technical documentation, reports, and manuals to support future deployments
Communicate with mine personnel and provide structured feedback to the engineering team
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Engineering or Technology, and/or experience as a technician or electrician
Strong hands-on skills in electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience creating technical documentation and using design tools for schematics and diagrams
Knowledge of Linux and computer networking is an asset
Able to work independently and safely in underground, surface, and remote environments
Valid G-class driver's licence (required)
Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally
