We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented WordPress Website Manager to oversee multiple WordPress websites focused on ecommerce and educational services. This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive maintenance and a deep understanding of performance optimization, security and user experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring all websites run smoothly, remain secure and continue to deliver an engaging experience for customers and learners.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management and Maintenance
Manage multiple WordPress websites on a daily basis
Monitor site health, uptime and overall performance
Perform regular updates for WordPress core, themes and plugins
Identify and resolve technical issues quickly
Ecommerce Management
Oversee product listings, pricing updates and content management
Monitor checkout functionality and payment gateway integrations
Optimize conversion funnels and improve shopping experience
Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns and landing pages
Educational Platform Management
Manage course uploads, updates and student access
Maintain LMS functionality and troubleshoot related issues
Ensure smooth user registration and login processes
Improve learner experience through UI and UX enhancements
Performance Optimization
Optimize page speed and database performance
Implement caching strategies and CDN configuration
Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Conduct regular audits to maintain high performance standards
Security and Backup
Implement strong security measures and firewall protection
Monitor for malware and vulnerabilities
Schedule and manage regular backups
Ensure compliance with data protection standards
SEO and Content Support
Implement on page SEO best practices
Optimize metadata, internal linking and schema markup
Support content publishing and formatting
Maintain SEO health across all sites
Collaboration and Reporting
Coordinate with designers, developers and content teams
Provide regular performance reports and improvement plans
Recommend new tools or strategies to enhance growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience managing multiple WordPress websites
Strong understanding of ecommerce workflows and LMS systems
Experience with performance optimization and security best practices
Familiarity with SEO principles and analytics tools
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WooCommerce or similar ecommerce solutions
Experience with popular LMS plugins
Knowledge of hosting environments and server management
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and PHP
Work Expectations
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proactive communication and regular progress updates
Commitment to long term collaboration
Availability to handle urgent issues when needed
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: WooCommerce, HTML, Ecommerce, WordPress, PHP
Optional skills: Search Engine Optimization, Web Development
