Portland, Oregon is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Distribution Center Associates. In this essential role, you will be at the heart of our Logistics network, contributing to the efficient flow of goods from our facility to customers. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are seeking candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding our high standards of Safety and operational excellence. This position requires physical dexterity, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong sense of teamwork. - Accurately receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Organize and stock inventory within the distribution center.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking the correct items efficiently.
- Pack products with care, ensuring they are ready for transit.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory control activities like cycle counting.
- Support and enhance overall Logistics efficiency.
- Previous distribution center or warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to manage consistent Lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
- Must use provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Capability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Understanding of Safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is beneficial.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
