Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping a wide range of products. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of safety and productivity. This position requires the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. Regular physical activity, including lifting and moving goods, is a core part of the job. Our company prioritizes a safe working environment, and all associates are expected to adhere to established safety protocols and utilize provided PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
  • Sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Accurately pick items based on order requirements using RF scanners or pick lists.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and workstations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is desirable.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
