In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods are accurately recorded and tracked. Maintaining organized storage locations and ensuring the efficient flow of inventory are also key responsibilities. A thorough understanding of inventory management principles and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this position. We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment, and you will play a role in reinforcing safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Reconciling stock levels between physical counts and system records.
- Implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures.
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying potential shortages or overages.
- Ensuring accurate data entry for all inventory transactions.
- Maintaining organized and tidy storage areas.
- Assisting with the receiving and put-away of goods as needed.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety standards and use of PPE.
