Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Seattle, Washington. This critical role ensures the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods, and assist with inventory management. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve materials from warehouse shelves.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse, such as receiving, storage, and shipping docks.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues.
  • Assist with inventory control by moving stock, conducting cycle counts, and verifying quantities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately to supervision.
  • Support broader warehouse operations and logistics as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if required.
  • Understanding of basic warehouse logistics principles.
