We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, and implementing best practices in warehouse operations. Safety is a paramount concern, and you will ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and foster a culture of safety among the team. The role involves occasional lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory control and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supervise and train warehouse associates, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient operations.
- Analyze and report on key warehouse performance metrics.
- Ensure safe lifting practices are followed by all staff.
