We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our bustling warehouse operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting overall warehouse productivity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures. You will conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment and ensure all safety guidelines are strictly followed, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves frequent lifting and maneuvering of various goods. Your commitment to safety and operational excellence will be vital to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers with efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.
