Are you an energetic and detail-oriented individual looking for an opportunity in the logistics sector? We are hiring an Order Picker for our Washington, D.C. facility. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the right products are picked, packed, and staged for delivery in a timely manner. This position is vital to our customer satisfaction and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. You'll work closely with inventory management systems and be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are required to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures. The role involves significant walking and lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order lists and RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Stage orders in designated areas for loading.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Demonstrate safe lifting practices.
