We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is essential for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and performing inventory counts. Your role is critical to our overall logistics and supply chain success. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety and require all associates to adhere to strict safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Support logistics team with various warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and proper handling of materials.
- Good communication skills.
