We are seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators to join our bustling warehouse operations in Detroit, Michigan. This is a key role within our logistics department, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods. As a Forklift Operator, you will operate industrial trucks to transport materials, load and unload trailers, and assist with inventory management. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. You will conduct pre-operation inspections on forklifts, maintain accurate logs of movements, and adhere strictly to all warehouse safety protocols. Responsibilities include staging products for shipping and receiving, stacking pallets, and ensuring that materials are stored correctly. Excellent communication skills are vital for coordinating with other warehouse personnel. We emphasize a culture of safety and require all employees to wear the necessary PPE , including safety shoes, vests, and any other required gear. While primarily operating a forklift, there may be instances requiring manual Lifting or assisting with load securing.
