Join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! This role is integral to our e-commerce fulfillment operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are key to providing an excellent customer experience and supporting our logistics network. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists, meticulously inspecting items for quality, and then securely packing them into appropriate shipping containers. You will also apply shipping labels and stage completed orders for outgoing delivery. Safety is a paramount concern, and all associates must strictly adhere to all safety regulations and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This role demands physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and involved in frequent lifting. Experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment, particularly with RF scanning technology, is highly desirable, but comprehensive training will be provided to motivated individuals. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping materials.
- Apply shipping labels accurately to packages.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing logistics.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Process returns and restock items as directed.
- Ensure all shipped items meet company standards for presentation and protection.
