We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our busy New York City, New York facility. This role is key to our ability to meet customer demands efficiently and accurately. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will work with state-of-the-art technology to ensure accuracy and speed in order processing. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanning devices and order lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before finalizing for shipment.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and staging in the correct areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Contribute to the efficient workflow of the fulfillment center and overall Logistics operations.
- Perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar role is a plus. Ability to read and interpret order details accurately. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics . Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE . Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform occasional Lifting for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Team player with a positive and proactive attitude. Must be reliable and punctual. Excellent communication skills are beneficial.
