Join our busy logistics hub in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Receiving Clerk! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring they are accurately received, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. Your attention to detail is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our stock and supporting the smooth flow of operations. We are committed to a Safe and efficient workplace, and adherence to all protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Tag and label incoming merchandise appropriately.
- Route received goods to the correct storage locations or departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors and relevant departments promptly.
- Operate material handling equipment safely when necessary.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Ensure the correct use of required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and warehouse management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of workplace Safety regulations.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic environment.
