Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This critical role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control, including cycle counting, stocktaking, discrepancy investigation, and reconciliation. Your efforts are vital to our Logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products available when needed and minimizing stockouts and overstock situations. This position requires a highly analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory issues. You will work with warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, maintain accurate records, and generate reports. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with warehouse staff, procurement, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies. Our commitment to workplace Safety is a top priority. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE , especially when navigating the warehouse floor. While this role is less physically demanding than some warehouse positions, some Lifting may be required during stock checks or investigations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management and a deep understanding of warehouse best practices. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies identified through cycle counts or system data.
  • Reconcile inventory records with physical stock and system data.
  • Manage and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock aging, turnover, and potential obsolescence.
  • Identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping departments to resolve issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret data and generate reports.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and best practices.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE and follow Safety guidelines.
  • Ability to perform occasional moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
