Our state-of-the-art logistics center in Las Vegas, Nevada, is looking for skilled Forklift Operators. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your expertise in operating forklifts will be crucial to maintaining workflow, ensuring timely loading and unloading of trucks, and organizing inventory. If you have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and are committed to operational excellence, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and retrieve items from racking systems.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
- Follow all company logistics and safety policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Be capable of performing tasks that involve Lifting up to 50 lbs, when not operating a forklift.
- Ensure all movements are conducted with care to prevent damage to goods and property.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in navigating warehouse layouts and understanding material flow.
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to perform duties that involve occasional Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to a safe work environment and adherence to all safety regulations.
