Operate a forklift and contribute to the smooth functioning of our warehouse in Denver, Colorado as a Forklift Operator. We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of materials, loading and unloading of trucks, and efficient storage of goods. This role requires proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and a strong understanding of warehouse safety. Join our team and be a key player in our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift to ensure safe operation.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas and to shipping docks.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure efficient logistics flow.
- Perform duties involving lifting and maneuvering of materials as needed.
- Follow all company guidelines related to safe material handling and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment.
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including some lifting and manual maneuvering.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control systems.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
