We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our Miami, Florida location! In this role, you will operate a reach truck to efficiently move and stack inventory within our distribution center. Your precision and adherence to Safety protocols are vital for maintaining the integrity of our stock and ensuring a smooth workflow in our logistics operations. You will be responsible for maneuvering products at various heights, receiving and staging materials, and contributing to accurate inventory management. We emphasize a secure work environment and provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires experience with specialized warehouse equipment, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to perform physical tasks including occasional Lifting and bending. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve palletized goods.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate placement of inventory.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain organized storage locations and assist with inventory placement.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times while operating equipment.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed during slower periods.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and warehouse operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck certification or ability to obtain one.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety standards and material handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Physical ability to perform occasional Lifting and bending.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning skills.
- Reliability and attention to detail are essential.
