Our fast-paced distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina, is looking for a reliable and energetic Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring that products are handled, stored, and moved efficiently. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and stocking inventory. You'll be working in a team-oriented environment where cooperation and efficiency are key. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is non-negotiable. This position involves a significant amount of physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. You will utilize various warehouse equipment to assist with your tasks and contribute to the overall flow of goods through our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks as directed.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
- Knowledge of basic logistics operations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
