This role demands a strong focus on Safety, and all team members are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety guidelines. The job involves significant physical activity, including repetitive motions and the ability to handle Loading and unloading with precision. While operating the forklift, you will be responsible for handling loads that may require substantial Lifting. We provide ongoing training to ensure all operators are up-to-date on the latest safety standards and equipment operation. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the proper use of PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory control and stock rotation.
- Follow all instructions related to Lifting and handling of goods.
- Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting as needed.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and practices.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and detail-oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
