Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock received goods into designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick customer orders using handheld scanners and accurately fulfill items.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and aisles.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counting processes.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and contribute to efficient logistics operations.
- Be prepared for frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily performance goals and operational objectives.
- Understand and execute tasks in a timely manner within a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- This role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or distribution experience is advantageous. Must possess a strong commitment to workplace safety and follow all guidelines. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality are crucial. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Must be comfortable with physical demands, including consistent lifting and movement. Understanding basic logistics principles is helpful.
