We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Baltimore, Maryland facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse and logistics operations. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including equipment maintenance, inventory support, and ensuring all safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors).
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the facility and equipment, documenting findings.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues to minimize downtime in logistics.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
- Support the logistics team with various tasks as required.
Prior experience in a warehouse maintenance or technical role is required. Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems common in warehouses. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
